Turning back onto the Queen K was a bit of a relief. Thirty miles left home stretch. I also knew I would be riding by my mom and Axel one more time, so I kept a smile on my face and pushed on. One of my favorite things about the Kona bike course? Soon I made my way to Palani Road where I endured the hardest climb on the run.
